Join Voices Rising as we explore the different roles of women across time and across continents in work and play, from the toils of Sudanese basket weavers, through battles for equality in the corporate world, to playful days on the beach. Musical selections will include settings of poems by Dorothy Parker and e. e. cummings, favorites by Cyndi Lauper and Dolly Parton, folk tunes, and the signature Broadway number.
